Places to swim

On our island you will find marvellous beaches where you can enjoy swimming.

The best are found on the south coast of the island, bordering the Cretan Sea. There you will find the beaches of Klisidi, Katsouni, Flamourou,  Roukounas, Megas Potamos, Aghioi Anargyroi  and Prasies (by the monastery).

Along the south-western coast you will find beaches with wilder beauty and pebbles, as at Prasia and Vaya.
